Welcome back to the Revolutionary Ridez All Starz blog. Today I bring you my next guest ride, which I’m excited to discuss in this post. This individual has been part of the car scene for 18 years and is an avid lover of all types of cars. In particular, he got deeply involved into imports in which it fascinated so much that it motivated him to invest time, money and energy into this great vehicle. Today I present you Steve Taylor and his vehicle known as “Purple Haze”. I will walk you through the Steve’s journey into the car scene as well as the before and after transformation of “Purple Haze”. This time I will make a little twist on the blog post. For the first time, I will be giving a shout out by request. If you are reading this post and would like me to give a shout out to you or someone you know, you are more than welcome to message me though the blog, private message on Instagram and Facebook to make it happen. Now let’s get to the post, Shall we?
The Beginning Phase
Steve’s journey in the car scene began 18 years ago. As mentioned before, he loves all car types (brand and model). Eventually, he would decide to lean towards imports in which then invested in a 1994 Toyota Corolla (one of his favorites of the mid 90’s) to make it as one of the best modified Toyotas out there. His main sources of inspiration include the Fast and Furious Franchise as well as the Touring Car Circuits. After Steven’s mother passed away in 2009, he would receive economic aid in order to restart his life again. Out of nowhere, a friend offered him the 1994 Toyota Corolla while owning an Ae92 car in which he ended purchasing the Corolla in April of 2010. The AE92 was supposed to be the “show car” but that quickly changed after discovering many parts of the model. At a Krispy Kreme Meet in Burbank, a gentleman from JDM Sport and Firm 400 considered the Corolla “unique” since no one was modding this car anymore. Before hitting the breakout moment, JDM headlights, Euro Taillights, a sound system and seats were all acquired. 2014 became a “breakout year” for Purple Haze after getting the first pictures on JDM Sport and Firm 400 social media pages. This moment would lead to new heights in the modified car scene.

Exterior: Paint/Wheels/Lightning
When it comes to the paint portion, creativity is always involved based on inspiration, innovation and uniqueness. In 2010, the vehicle was painted purple as Steve’s personal favorite color and an avid fan of Prince. At the same time, the nickname “Purple Haze” was born. The wheels of the vehicle include the following: Variis Vr07 15x8 +20 Offset, Toyo Extensa 195/45/15 and Rotors by R1 Concepts. And finally, the custom lightning for “Purple Haze” have come from A-Sun Garage. A couple of small details to mention are the Custom Sideskirt Splitters and Custom “Chaser” Turn Signals.
